About the role
Rise Engineers are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Civil Engineer / Designer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic team of engineers and technical draftspersons, working on a wide range of exciting and challenging projects.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage civil engineering projects, focusing on stormwater drainage and roadway/driveway design.
Develop and review detailed design plans, reports, and documentation.
Utilize software such as 12D, Civil3D, DRAINS, and MUSIC to produce high-quality engineering designs.
Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftspersons.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant local regulations, standards, and best practices.
Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
About you
Minimum 5 years of experience in a local consulting firm.
Strong experience in stormwater drainage design and roadway/driveway design.
Proficiency in using 12D OR Civil3D, DRAINS, and MUSIC software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
