Operations & Partnerships Manager ( Non-Profit )

Balu Blue Foundation is a registered Australian charity dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, conservation and education. As our first Operations & Partnerships Manager, you'll work directly with our Founder & CEO to help build the systems, partnerships and operations that allow the Foundation to grow sustainably.

About the Role

This is a diverse, purpose-driven role combining operations, administration, governance, partnerships, fundraising support and organisational development.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the Foundation remains organised, compliant and financially sustainable while helping expand our wildlife rescue, conservation and education programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations and administration.

• Manage calendars, meetings, records and organisational systems.

• Prepare Board papers, reports and meeting minutes.

• Coordinate grants, funding reports and partnership opportunities.

• Build relationships with donors, sponsors and key stakeholders.

• Support governance, compliance and reporting requirements.

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, events and community initiatives.

• Develop systems and processes that improve efficiency and support long-term growth.

About You

You'll be organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ideally you'll have experience in:

• Operations or administration

• Project coordination

• Grants, fundraising or partnerships

• Governance or compliance

• Stakeholder engagement

• Google Drive, and cloud-based systems

Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded but not essential. A genuine passion for wildlife conservation and purpose-driven work is essential.
