National Service Manager

What you’ll do

• Lead a nationally spread field service team of around 40 technicians, backed by state managers, supervisors, planners and a small admin crew
• Own P&L performance across a $15M service operation, lifting utilisation, trimming costs and carving a clear route to stronger revenue and profit
• Spot and chase segment growth, expanding the service contracts business and holding your ground in sectors where the company already leads
• Drive the digital transformation agenda forward, from refining field service management software to putting AI and data to work on efficiency
• Take ownership of the spare parts function, making sure technicians have the right parts, in the right place, at the right time
• Build and protect a proactive safety culture across every field operation, with WHS compliance treated as non-negotiable
• Work shoulder to shoulder with your cross-functional leadership peers to line up service delivery with the wider business strategy

Who you are

• A proven senior leader with 10+ years across field service and operations
• Commercially astute, with hands-on P&L experience and the ability to read a service business through its data and financials
• Comfortable with digital tools and transformation, including field service management platforms
• A natural communicator who moves easily between the field and the boardroom, building strong relationships at every level and turning new strategy into real execution
• Suitably qualified in a trade, engineering or commerce discipline
• A firm, fair and consultative leader with a track record of building accountable, high-performing teams
• Based in Sydney or open to relocating, and happy to travel interstate regularly
