Data entry and processing

McMahon Burnett Transport is a privately owned Western Australian Company located in Hazelmere, WA 6055.

McMahon Burnett Transport is looking to employee a full-time data entry person. This is an opportunity for the right person to be trained in all facets of an office environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Data entry and processing incoming/outgoing paperwork using the Freight2020 computer system – experience with this is preferred but not essential.

• Answering telephone calls and customer queries.

• Processing quotes/payments

• Consistent email management with as well as using other office programs (mainly word and excel)

• Working hours 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Ideally the successful applicant should possess the following attributes: -

• Attention to detail and being a fast learner is a must.

• Experience with data entry and the transport industry is preferred but not essential 

• Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize according to deadlines.

• Be able to work on your own as well as enjoy working as part of the team

• Be punctual and willing to learn.

• Organized with excellent time management skills and being able to take information in.

• Confident, friendly with a positive attitude towards work.

• Own Transport.

• You will be responsible for a broad range of operational activities that are crucial to the effective running of the business.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a similar role is highly desirable

• Experience in Transport and Logistics industry
