One fixed full time vacancy is available from 04/01/2027 for 12 months

This position provides specialist paediatric care to patients within the Paediatric Department of the Royal Darwin Hospital, regional hospitals and remote communities; and to contribute to post graduate education at Royal Darwin Hospital, including the supervision of paediatric trainees.

• Provide specialist paediatric care of infants, children and young adults admitted at the Royal Darwin Hospital including afterhours cover.

• Conduct regular paediatric outpatient sessions at the Royal Darwin Hospital and in remote communities.

• Supervise and report on inpatients

• Provide specialist paediatric advice to colleagues in geographically isolated centres in the NT.

• Participate in continuous medical education including undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, professional development, peer review, research, and quality improvement activities.

• Collaborate with other medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to review and revise policies, procedures and guidelines in line with national and international recommendations.
