Centre Manager

We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our original and established Canopy Early Education service in the heart of Milton. This is a rare opportunity to lead a centre recognised as Exceeding the National Quality Standard - an achievement reached by only around 7% of early education services nationally.

You will join a growing group committed to exceptional outcomes for children, families and educators, with a strong focus on quality, child safety, team culture and performance.

About the Role

• Lead and champion a continuing gold-standard family and staff experience in our well-established centre

• Lead the overall operations, program delivery, performance, and impact of the centre

• Drive quality improvement and Assessment & Rating readiness

• Manage occupancy, enrolments, and financial performance

• Build reputation and strong relationships with families and the local community

• Lead, coach and develop a team of great educators and leaders

• Ensure compliance with National Law, Regulations, and NQS

• Embed and champion a strong Child Safe Framework across all practices

 Child Safety & Safeguarding 

• Lead and promote a child safe culture where children’s voices are heard and respected

• Ensure the service aligns with the Child Safe Standards and relevant state legislation

• Oversee robust risk management, supervision, and safe environments

• Ensure all staff understand and meet their mandatory reporting obligations

• Embed safeguarding practices into daily operations, decision-making, and team behaviours

  About You

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

• At least three years’ experience as a Centre Manager

• Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF, National Law & Regulations

• Demonstrated experience embedding child safe practices and safeguarding frameworks

• Proven ability to lead teams, build relationships, and drive performance outcomes

• Experience managing occupancy, budgets, and KPIs

• A leadership style that is supportive, collaborative, accountable, and outcomes-focused
