About the role
If you've already got some experience in property management and you're ready to get more involved than just administration, we'd like to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn every side of property management. You'll work alongside experienced Property Managers, spend time out in the field, meet landlords and tenants, inspect properties, coordinate maintenance and build the skills needed to eventually manage your own portfolio.
No two days are the same, so you'll need to enjoy variety, be organised and be happy juggling multiple priorities.
As our Assistant Property Manager, you'll support the team across all aspects of residential property management, including:
Assisting with the day-to-day management of residential properties
Conducting routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections
Attending open homes and assisting with leasing activities
Coordinating maintenance and communicating with contractors
Responding to landlord and tenant enquiries
Managing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records
Travelling to properties throughout Sydney and surrounding areas, with occasional regional travel
Supporting Property Managers to deliver a high standard of service
We're looking for someone who's keen to build a long-term career in property management and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Ideally you'll have:
1-2 years' experience in an Assistant Property Manager or similar role
Current NSW Certificate of Registration (or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Confidence using property management software
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Flexibility to travel when required
This isn't a desk-bound administration role.
You'll be out inspecting properties, meeting clients, learning from experienced Property Managers and gaining exposure to every part of residential property management. If your goal is to eventually manage your own portfolio, this role will give you the experience to get there.
We offer:
Full-time, permanent employment
Ongoing training and mentoring
Opportunities to develop your property management skills
A varied role with plenty of time out in the field
A growing business with opportunities to progress as you gain experience
If you're looking for a role where you can keep learning, take on more responsibility and build a long-term career in property management, we'd love to hear from you.
