Roster:Hours: 2:30am to 11:00amMonday to Friday, with availability for every second weekend preferred.
Pay Rate:$36.11 per hourincreasing to $37.56 per hour from 6 September 2026
Additional Requirements:Ability to obtain Defence and Correctional Facility clearances
What You'll Be DoingFollowing successful completion of the Driver Academy, you'll join a professional operations team delivering essential services across the community.Your responsibilities may include:Safely operating collection and service vehiclesCollecting waste and recyclable materials from residential, commercial and industrial customersLoading and unloading materials as requiredTransporting loads to disposal and resource recovery facilitiesConducting pre-start vehicle inspectionsCompleting paperwork and operational records accuratelyMaintaining vehicle presentation and cleanlinessDelivering excellent customer serviceWorking safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team

To Be Eligible You Will Need ToHold a current unrestricted Australian driver's licenceHave held your licence for a minimum of 24 monthsHave at least eight demerit points remainingHave a safe driving recordBe legally entitled to work in AustraliaBe willing to work early morning shifts, with typical starts between 3:00am and 5:30am depending on operational requirementsBe willing to undertake physically active workBe committed to safety and teamworkSuccessfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testingSuccessfully complete background and licence checks relevant to the role
