About the role
AAC is looking for an organised and capable customer service professional who enjoys solving problems, working with detailed information and learning new systems.
This role combines customer service and order administration for AAC Wristbands & ID Solutions with event and platform administration for CrowdFlo, our event management technology platform.
It is a genuinely varied position. One moment you may be helping a customer select the right wristband or accreditation product, and the next you may be setting up an event, importing attendee information or helping an organiser navigate CrowdFlo.
About AAC
AAC Wristbands & ID Solutions is an Australian-owned manufacturer and supplier of wristbands, identification products, accreditation and event solutions.
Since 1997, we have supported events, festivals, venues, attractions, leisure facilities and organisations across Australia. Our product range includes custom wristbands, tickets, lanyards, identification cards, accreditation products and RFID and NFC solutions.
We also develop CrowdFlo, an event technology platform used to manage ticketing and registration, attendee entry, access control, cashless payments, staff, inventory and event reporting.
We are an established business, but we continue to invest in new products, technology and better ways of working. You will join a practical, collaborative team where good ideas and process improvements are encouraged.
About the Role
You will be one of the main points of contact for AAC customers and CrowdFlo event organisers.
For AAC customers, you will assist with enquiries, quotes, orders, artwork requirements, production updates and delivery timeframes.
For CrowdFlo customers, you will help administer organiser accounts and events, complete platform configuration, check event data and provide first-level assistance with general platform questions.
This is not a scripted call-centre position. You will be expected to understand each request, identify what needs to happen next and take ownership through to resolution.
Full training will be provided across our products, internal systems and CrowdFlo platform.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Order Administration
Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, website and in person when required.
Recommend suitable products based on the customer’s event, application, quantity, timeframe and budget.
Prepare quotes and process phone, email and website orders.
Check order information including quantities, specifications, artwork, variable data and delivery requirements.
Coordinate with our artwork, production and dispatch teams to keep orders moving.
Provide customers with clear updates regarding artwork approvals, production and delivery.
Manage order changes, urgent requests and customer concerns professionally.
Maintain accurate customer, order and communication records within our systems.
Take ownership of customer issues and follow them through to completion.
CrowdFlo Administration
Create and maintain organiser accounts, users and events within CrowdFlo.
Configure ticket types, registration questions, event information, access settings and user permissions.
Import and review attendee, ticket and registration data.
Help event organisers with login, account access and general platform questions.
Check event configurations and identify missing or incorrect information before an event goes live.
Assist with basic reports, exports and event administration requests.
Test new platform features and workflows from an administrative and customer perspective.
Clearly document bugs, unexpected behaviour and customer requests for the product and development teams.
Help maintain internal procedures, customer instructions and support documentation.
Work closely with the CrowdFlo product team to improve platform processes and usability.
About You
You will be well suited to this role if you:
Have previous experience in customer service, administration, sales support or order processing.
Communicate clearly and professionally by phone and email.
Have strong attention to detail and understand that small errors can affect production orders and live events.
Are comfortable learning software and working across multiple systems.
Can think logically, investigate a problem and determine the next step.
Remain calm and organised when priorities change or urgent requests arise.
Can manage several customer requests without losing track of details.
Take responsibility for your work and follow tasks through to completion.
Are comfortable asking questions, providing feedback and suggesting process improvements.
Enjoy working as part of a team while also managing your own workload.
Highly Regarded, but Not Essential
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
Printing, signage, promotional products or manufacturing.
Events, festivals, ticketing, registration, venues or attractions.
Graphic design, artwork preparation or print terminology.
Event management, ticketing or customer support software.
CRM, ERP, e-commerce or order management systems.
Excel, spreadsheets, data imports and customer databases.
You do not need to be a developer or have coding experience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, understands detail and can confidently learn how a system works.
Why Join AAC?
Work across both a physical manufacturing business and a growing event technology platform.
Gain exposure to a broad range of events, products, customers and industries.
Join an Australian business with more than 25 years of industry experience.
Receive hands-on training across products, production processes and software.
Have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful improvements rather than simply follow existing procedures.
Build experience across customer service, event operations, technology and administration.
Work directly with the people responsible for operating and developing the business.
