Learning and HR Support Officer

The Natural Grocery Company are on the lookout for a motivated, driven, and passionate Learning and Development and Human Resources Support Officer to join our vibrant team on a permanent full-time basis - based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

In this exciting support role within our business, you will drive people excellence and support continuous learning across our network stores and support office. Reporting directly to our Human Resources Manager, this critical role is designed for an energetic, people-focused professional capable of providing exceptional L&D outcomes; and HR support to our store teams.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Elite Communication & Content Creation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for designing highly engaging training materials, assets, and learning content. Experience in Articulate Rise is considered an advantage.

• L&D and Learning Styles Understanding: Deep interest in or understanding of learning and development outcomes, including how to tailor training to different learning styles.

• Data & Reporting Capability: Strong comfort with numbers and spreadsheets, with the ability to track training completion rates and pull basic HR reports.

• HRIS Savvy (Employment Hero): Familiarity or hands-on experience with an HRIS platform—experience navigating Employment Hero (or similar) and its learning modules will see you hit the ground running.

• People-First Mentality: Natural coaching skills to motivate, develop, and build trust with store managers and team members.

• Efficiency Focus: By identifying inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, and implementing smarter ways to work.

• WHS & Compliance Support: Quick to learn and support workplace health and safety (WHS), food handling compliance, and HR policies across our network.

• Proactive Communication: High energy and confidence to collaborate with the HR Manager, share ideas, and deliver clear reporting.

• Strong Organisational Skills: Exceptional time management to handle multiple priorities and seamlessly support a multi-site retail network.
