Contractor Opportunity | Flexible Consulting | Immediate Referral BaseJoin our well-established Specialist Paediatric Clinic and become part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping children reach their full potential.We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing practice on a flexible contractor basis.Whether you are looking for one day per week, part-time or full-time consulting, we provide the referrals, administrative support and clinical environment so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.

About the RoleYou will assess and provide evidence-based intervention for children (0–18 years) with a wide range of communication, developmental and feeding needs.Your caseload may include:Speech sound disordersLanguage delay and language disordersAutism Spectrum DisorderSocial communication difficultiesFluency disordersLiteracy and phonological awarenessFeeding and swallowing (where experienced)AAC assessment and interventionParent coaching and school collaborationServices may be delivered in the clinic, via telehealth or through school visits where appropriate.Clients are funded through:MedicareNDIS (Self-Managed participants)Private Health InsurancePrivate funding
About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)Current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology AustraliaCurrent NSW Working With Children CheckNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Professional Indemnity InsuranceExcellent communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skillsCommitment to evidence-based, family-centred practiceAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
Desirable ExperienceThe following will be highly regarded:Experience with NDIS and Medicare-funded servicesAAC assessment and interventionFeeding and swallowing management- not essentialTelehealth service deliverySchool and childcare collaborationKey Word Sign, DIR/Floortime or other evidence-based paediatric trainingAbility to prepare high-quality clinical and funding reports
