About The role

We are seeking an experienced Lending Adviser/Finance Broker to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert lending advice to clients, helping them navigate their financing options, and ensure a smooth process. Your passion for building relationships, collaborating with others, and delivering exceptional customer service will be key to your success. A strong "can-do" attitude, combined with the ability to overcome challenges and drive results, is essential to thriving in this role. 

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting clients from the initial enquiry to settlement and retention
• Checking loan and compliance documents
• Communicating and liaising with other internal divisions of the business to see how we can meet internal client residential, investment and commercial lending needs.
• Business development activities both internally and externally

Qualifications

• Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or equivalent)

Experience Required

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in mortgage advising/lending
• Current broker with MFAA or FBAA membership along with existing lender accreditations for both residential and commercial lending products
• Exceptional client service, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• High ethical and service standards
• Strong knowledge in residential lending, commercial lending (i.e. medico, property development), and asset finance

You will be based in our modern office located in Newcastle CBD.
