Cargo Warehouse Operator - Melbourne Airport

The Role

We are currently seeking Perm Part Time Cargo Warehouse Agents to join our international operation in Melbourne.

This position is on a 24hr ROTATING ROSTER (Monday to Sunday)

Expect 4-5 rostered shifts per week with up to 12hrs per shift.

***You MUST be available 24/7 (roster is sent 2 weeks in advance)***

Key duties include:

• Heavy lifting - packing/unpacking boxes and RF Scanning

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to load/unload trucks

• Operate cargo machines when required

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and capabilities: 

• MUST have LF Forklift licence

• MUST have experience with forklift operation to load/unload vehicles and store cargo

• MUST be flexible for shiftwork, overtime and weekends

• Manual handling ability - repeatedly lifting up to 20kg

• Attention to detail

• General warehouse experience preferred

• Professional and courteous communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
