Farm Hand/Irrigation Support

We’re currently seeking a motivated Farm Hand/Irrigation Support to join our experienced team.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone with experience operating farm or earthmoving machinery who enjoys early starts and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Irrigation across both farms, including scheduling, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the farm's irrigation infrastructure

• Operate turf harvesting machines

• Operate tractors, forklifts, loaders, and other farm machinery

• Daily machine pre-starts and basic maintenance

• Assist with turf farm operations including grass growing, mowing, and irrigation when required

• Follow job schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards

Required:

• Experience and knowledge of horticultural irrigation requirements including lateral and pivot irrigation.

• Knowledge of irrigation standards and practices

• IT skills to remote operate and program irrigation schedules via programs and apps

• Experience operating machinery in a farming, civil, or landscaping environment

• Current driver’s licence

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Safety-first mindset and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Forklift licence

• HR/MR truck licence

• Mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Experience operating a turf harvester
