Who we are
We are the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman (the Office).
The Office safeguards the community in its dealings with the Australian Government, some private sector organisations and higher education providers.
We primarily do this by handling complaints, conducting investigations, performing audits and inspections, making recommendations and encouraging good administration.

About the Temporary Employment Register
The Office maintains a Temporary Employment Register of interested candidates for temporary roles at the Commonwealth Ombudsman. Candidates should be aware that this is a register and you will only be contacted regarding your application if a vacancy arises that matches your skills, qualifications and experience.
We’re looking for team players with strong client engagement, communication and analytical skills to register their interest. As a small agency, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the wider objectives of the Office.
