About the role
At Excellence in Dentistry, we are passionate about delivering exceptional dental care in a modern, friendly, and patient-centric environment. Located in Spring Hill, north of Brisbane CBD, our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy and digital scanning, to ensure our team can perform at their absolute best.
We pride ourselves on our vibrant team culture, strong focus on preventative care, and commitment to continuous professional development. We are now looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist or Oral Hygienist, or Oral Hygienist to join our growing family!
The RoleThe position is for 2 to 3 days; Thursday is a must, and other days are negotiable, where you will have the autonomy to manage your own chair while working collaboratively with our experienced team of Dentists.
You will provide comprehensive oral health care to a diverse patient base, with a strong emphasis on therapy, hygiene, and children's dentistry.
Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality preventative and periodontal treatments to adult and pediatric patients.
Conduct routine dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning within your scope of practice.
Perform restorative treatments for children and adolescents (and adults, if adult scope qualified).
Deliver engaging patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care.
Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans.
Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and comply with all infection control protocols.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Oral Health (or equivalent) or equivalent for Oral Hygienist and current AHPRA registration.
Experience: Open to both experienced clinicians and passionate new graduates (mentorship available!).
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a gentle chairside manner that puts anxious patients at ease.
Mindset: A team player who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Compliance: Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance, Working with Children Check (if applicable), and current radiation license.
Attractive Remuneration: $65 to $75 + super, commensurate with experience.
