ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking an experienced Telehandler / Hoist Operator for a short-term construction project based in Muswellbrook, NSW.

This role is scheduled to commence on Monday 17 August and will run for approximately 3+ weeks - longer term for the right candidate.

📍 Location: Muswellbrook, NSW
📅 Project Duration: Monday 17 August - 3+ Weeks - Longer term for the right candidate
💰 Pay Rate: $59.71 - $63.23 per hour casual + daily site allowances
⏰ Roster: Monday - Friday - Minimum 8 hour days

You will be supporting an active construction site, operating machinery and assisting site crews where required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating Telehandler equipment safely and efficiently
• Operating Material Hoist equipment as required
• Assisting site crews with labouring duties
• Supporting trades and additional site teams
• Maintaining high safety standards and a productive work environment

ABOUT YOU

You are a reliable and experienced operator who takes pride in working safely and supporting your team.

To be considered, you must have:

✅ White Card (Construction Induction)
✅ Gold Card Telehandler Ticket
✅ C6 Telehandler Ticket
✅ Material or Personnel Hoist Ticket
✅ Demonstrated experience operating Telehandlers on construction sites
✅ Willingness to assist with general labouring
✅ Current driver's licence and reliable transport
✅ Strong work ethic and commitment to site safety
✅ Must be local to Muswellbrook or surrounding region (No LAFHA available)
