Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Representative role is based in Mount Isa, QLD. The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, promoting Wurth Australia’s product range, and providing solutions tailored to customer needs in industries such as automotive, construction, and mining. Day-to-day activities include conducting on-site customer visits, presenting and demonstrating products, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up on leads to achieve sales targets. The role also involves monitoring market trends, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, coordinating with internal teams on stock and deliveries, and ensuring high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
Qualifications
Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a focus on achieving targets in a B2B environment.Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with customers at all levels.Basic commercial and technical understanding of tools, fixing and assembly materials, or related industrial products.Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software, including managing customer data and preparing reports.Ability to work independently in an on-site field sales role, including planning routes, managing time, and prioritizing accounts.Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel locally within the Mount Isa region to visit customers.Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles; experience in automotive, construction, or mining sectors is advantageous.Relevant vocational qualification or certificate in sales, business, or a related field is beneficial.
