Roof Plumber

About the role

Working with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager, you will complete roof plumbing and building-envelope packages across commercial, industrial and mining sites. You will work from drawings and specifications, coordinate with other trades and help deliver each work front safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities

• Install metal roof sheeting, wall cladding, gutters, downpipes, flashings, cappings and box gutters.
• Complete roof penetrations, rainwater systems, insulation and associated roofing details.
• Measure, set out, cut, fabricate and install roofing components to drawings and specifications.
• Deliver architectural roofing, façade and building-envelope packages across commercial and industrial projects.
• Follow the construction programme, daily work plan, milestones and site priorities.
• Operate safely at heights and use EWP, scissor lifts, boom lifts and access equipment where authorised.
• Participate in pre-starts and toolbox talks and comply with SWMS, JHAs, permits and site procedures.
• Complete quality checks, ITPs, installation records, defect rectification and handover activities.
• Identify drawing conflicts, material shortages and access constraints and report them promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and professional condition.

About you

• Trade-qualified Roof Plumber or an experienced Roofing Tradesperson with relevant commercial experience.
• Demonstrated experience with metal roof sheeting, wall cladding, gutters, downpipes and flashings.
• Experience on commercial construction, industrial construction or mining infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings, roofing details, specifications and material schedules.
• Strong attention to detail, workmanship and quality assurance.
• A safety-first approach and confidence working at heights and in changing site conditions.
• Ability to work independently, meet programme commitments and contribute positively to a site team.
• Current Construction White Card and unrestricted WA C-class driver's licence.
• Full Australian working rights and willingness to undertake regional and mine-site travel.
