Experienced Guest Service Agent

Located on Sydney’s North Shore, Hotel Urban St Leonards offers boutique-style hotel accommodation with modern amenities. The hotel is conveniently located, walking distance to public transport providing easy access to Sydney city centre.

We are seeking a warm and welcoming personality, a passion for customer service and the ability to create surprising and memorable experiences. The position will require the successful applicant to work full-time hours on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday (7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm).

The duties and responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role is a full-time Duty position that will require you to be involved in:

• Overseeing daily shift operations and inter-department communications (Night Audit, House-Keeping & Food and Beverage)
• Greeting guests on arrival.
• Administering check-in and check-outs
• Managing complaints and assist with all guest inquiries
• Processing guest payments and maintain guest Accounts
• Answering phone calls and replying to all email inquires
• Taking and entering reservations

The successful applicant:

• Experience as a Guest Service Agent is required.
• Experience in managing complaints
• High attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
• A very strong focus on customer service, good use of initiative, excellent communication skills and a high level of personal grooming and presentation.
• Availability on weekends is a must.
• Available to work on a rotating roster 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm

Pay: $70,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
