Ability OT is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Morningside, Queensland.

The Position:Neurological Caseload including;
Brain Injury (TBI, Stroke)
Spinal Cord Injury
MS
Parkinson's Disease
MND
FND
Younger Onset Dementia
Mixed funding schemes including;
Lifetime Care (NIISQ, iCare, TAC)
Workcover (approved rehab provider)
CTP Insurance
NDIS
Private/ Medicare
Conduct functional assessments and set achievable goals
Develop and implement therapy interventions (physical, cognitive, functional)
Grow and run our already established Group Programs (Memory group, Upper Limb group, Fatigue Management group and Return to Work group)
Return to Work programs and support
Assistive Technology prescription
Home Modification prescription (including complex home mods where appropriate)
Upper Limb Therapy - utilising digital technologies alongside functional activities.
Access to supportive treatment modalities including our Attention Process Training program and onsite Driving Simulator
Provide mentorship and supervision to junior clinicians and contribute to the direction of the service as part of the leadership team.
Salary: $100k-$125k + Super + Incentive Bonuses (based on experience)
A true neuro caseload that is not all NDIS
Realistic KPI's to allow focus on quality service provision
Regular supervision and support from senior clinicians
A real team environment lead by an OT who continues to practice clinically. An OT making decisions in the best interest of OT's!
Your own desk, phone, laptop
CPD allowance and support to develop your skills to enhance our service
Both clinic and community-based work
Our 'house' clinic that provides access to full kitchen, modified bathroom and gardening facilities to help develop client's functional skills.
Access to fleet vehicles and vehicle allowance if own car is required for use
Opportunities to work with both Adult and Paediatric neuro populations
A clear development pathway with leadership opportunities
Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance
Degree in Occupational Therapy (AHPRA Registered)
Minimum 5 years clinical experience
Wanting something more than just NDIS work
Truly looking to be part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
Driver Trained Clinician (highly desirable)
