Air Conditioning Technician

Brisbane & South East Queensland | $50–$60/hr + Super | Paid Overtime

Abreeze Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is growing, and we're looking for experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team.

We're building one of South East Queensland's leading commercial HVAC companies, and we're looking for great technicians who want to grow with us.

We believe good technicians should be paid well, given the right equipment and backed by people who understand the trade.

Our focus is commercial HVAC service, maintenance and installation across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

Depending on your experience, you'll work across:

• Commercial HVAC service and maintenance

• Breakdown diagnostics and fault finding

• Package units

• VRV/VRF systems

• Ducted and commercial split systems

• Chilled water equipment

• Compressors, coils, fan motors and major component replacements

• Electrical and control faults

• Equipment replacements and commercial installations

• Preventative maintenance programs

• Occasional refrigeration-related work

There's plenty of variety, and we want technicians who enjoy diagnosing faults and actually fixing equipment – not just changing filters or installing split systems every day.

One of the biggest things we've invested in is making sure our technicians aren't trying to do everything themselves.

You'll have dedicated office support handling scheduling, customer communication and administration so you can concentrate on the technical side of the job.

We use Simpro for scheduling, job management and reporting, helping keep your day organised and giving you clear information about each job.

You'll also be backed by an experienced management team, including our Operations Manager with over 37 years of HVAC industry experience.

When you run into a difficult fault, there's someone available who understands the equipment and can help.

Nobody knows everything in this trade.

We invest in ongoing manufacturer and technical training and want technicians who are interested in continuing to develop their skills.

As Abreeze continues to grow, there will also be opportunities for the right people to progress into Senior Technician, Supervisor and Management roles.

You'll ideally have:

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

• Current ARCtick licence

• Restricted Electrical Licence

• Construction White Card

• Current driver's licence

• Commercial HVAC experience

• Strong servicing and fault-finding skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Pride in your workmanship

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

We're looking for people who take their work seriously, look after the customer and contribute positively to the team.

You don't need to know everything. A good attitude, strong fundamentals and a willingness to keep learning matter to us.
