Promotional Teaching Position | Commencing 2027
Lead, inspire and grow a thriving culture of sport and student engagement.
The Cathedral School is seeking an exceptional teacher and leader to join our community as Head of Sport and Co-Curricular Activities. This is a key promotional leadership position responsible for shaping the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of the School's sporting and non-performing arts co-curricular programs.
Reporting to the Principal and Deputy Principal, this role provides leadership across a diverse and vibrant program that includes inter-school sport, representative pathways, sporting academies, debating, chess, clubs and societies, and student leadership opportunities. The position plays a significant role in fostering student participation, achievement, belonging and wellbeing while supporting the School's vision of developing inquisitive minds, kind hearts and purposeful futures.
About The Cathedral School
The Cathedral School is an Anglican co-educational school in Townsville catering for approximately 1,200 students from six weeks old to Year 12, including 170 boarding students. We are committed to providing a dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to discover their strengths and pursue excellence across academic, cultural, sporting and service pursuits.
