About the role
We are looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Footwear Manager & Medical Administrator to join our busy Podiatry Clinic.
This is a varied role that combines footwear management, customer service and medical administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a supportive team environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing our footwear department while also assisting with the day-to-day medical administration of the clinic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the clinic's footwear range, including stock ordering, displays and stock control across our Colac and Torquay Clinics
- Planning for calendar year ahead and seasonal styles
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service and assisting patients with footwear selection
- Processing footwear sales and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with suppliers and managing footwear orders
- Answering phones and welcoming patients
- Booking and managing patient appointments
- Processing payments, Medicare/private health claims and 3rd party payers
- Maintaining patient records and general clinic administration
- Supporting the podiatrists and clinical team as required
- Maintaining a professional, welcoming and organised reception and retail area
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Has an interest in footwear and helping people find the right products
- Is confident working with computers and learning new software
- Has strong attention to detail
- Presents professionally and enjoys working with patients
- Can multitask and remain calm in a busy clinic environment
- Previous retail experience preferred, preferably in footwear or related industries
- Proven proficiency in reception duties, including appointment scheduling and payment processing
