The National Art School (NAS) is accredited through TEQSA and offers Bachelor of Fine Art, Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours), Masters and Doctorate courses. About the role
The Student Services Manager leads the Student Services Team and is responsible for overseeing the entire student lifecycle, from application and enrolment through to graduation. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality student administration services, expert advice on enrolment, fees and academic policies, and the effective management of student records and processes. Working collaboratively across the School, the Student Services Manager drives continuous improvement of systems and procedures, maintains the integrity of student data, and ensures compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements, while fostering a positive, efficient and student-centred experience.
Key responsibilities
Lead the Student Services Team and manage team development
Oversee the entire student lifecycle from application and enrolment through to graduation
Deliver high-quality student administration services
Provide expert advice on enrolment, fees and academic policies
Manage student records and processes effectively
Drive continuous improvement of systems and procedures
Maintain the integrity of student data
Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
Foster a positive, efficient and student-centred experience
About you
Experienced student services professional with a strong background in higher education administration
Proven leadership capability to effectively manage and develop a team
Strong commitment to student-centred service, equity and inclusion
Experience using Student Information Systems
Confident in managing data integrity, reporting, system configuration and process improvement
Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and government reporting requirements
Highly detail-oriented with ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable making informed decisions using sound judgement and initiative
Ability to foster a supportive, culturally safe and inclusive environment that promotes student wellbeing, engagement and success
