LHS Rocktools Pty Ltd is a Perth-based supplier of rock drilling tools and mining consumables, providing quality products and technical support to the mining, quarrying and civil construction industries across Western Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Technologist to join our growing team in Perth.

About the Role

As an Engineering Technologist, you will provide technical support and engineering expertise to improve the performance, reliability and application of our products and equipment. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and internal staff to deliver practical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse customer and operational requirements and develop engineering solutions for rock drilling tools and related equipment.

· Conduct research and performance analysis to improve product design, reliability and operational efficiency.

· Assist in the design, development and modification of engineering products under the guidance of senior engineers and technical managers.

· Conduct testing and validation of engineering solutions and document technical findings and recommendations.

· Investigate equipment performance issues, identify root causes and implement engineering improvements.

· Prepare engineering reports, specifications, technical documentation and product improvement proposals.

· Provide technical support and engineering advice to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

· Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant safety standards, quality requirements and company procedures.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a related field.
• At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in an engineering or technical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A current Australian driver's licence is desirable.
