Nexgen Crushing & Screening (NEXGEN) is growing, and we’re looking for experienced High Voltage Field Service Electricians to join our team.

This is a genuine FIFO opportunity working across major projects throughout Western Australia, from Kalgoorlie through to the Pilbara and everywhere in between.

🔧 THE ROLE

As a High Voltage Field Service Electrician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our mobile fleet and processing equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You’ll work across a range of equipment and sites, including:

• High voltage systems and electrical equipment

• Mobile crushing and screening equipment

• Heavy earthmoving equipment

• Prime movers and support equipment

• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs

• Preventative maintenance and servicing

• Breakdown response and field repairs

• Installation, testing and commissioning as required

This is a hands-on field role suited to an electrician who enjoys variety and isn't interested in sitting in the same workshop every day. We also encourage our electricians to be experienced with heavy equipment and to pitch in with site crushing teams whenever possible.

• FIFO from Perth, Kalgoorlie, Albany and other locations by arrangement

• $60 – $80 per hour, depending on experience and capability

👷 ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently in the field and understands the importance of getting equipment back up and running safely.

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Australian-recognised High Voltage Electrical trade qualification

• Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a High Voltage Electrician

• Experience with fault finding, diagnostics and electrical repairs

• Experience or exposure to mobile plant, heavy equipment, crushing or mining environments

• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults will be highly regarded

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence

• Current LVR/CPR

• Strong safety focus and understanding of site procedures

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail

• Full Australian working rights

• Holding machine operating tickets, particularly for loaders and excavators, would be highly advantageous, as the role may involve supporting crushing and site operations when required.

📋 PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Successful applicants will be required to provide:

• Pre-employment medical (within the last 6 months)

• LAB DAS / Drug & Alcohol Screening (within the last 28 days)

• National Police Clearance (within the last 3 months)

• Current Driver’s Licence - HR

• White Card

• Relevant electrical and high voltage qualifications/licences
