Warehouse Pick Packer

The Role:

Warehouse Pick Packer is responsible for the accurate, safe and efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods within the Clover Pipelines warehouse operation.

In addition to standard storeman duties, this role provides senior operational support, acting as a point of reference for warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, safety compliance and day-to-day workflow. The Senior Warehouse Storeman is expected to lead by example and support the smooth running of warehouse operations.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Inbound & Receiving Operations

• Accurately receive and record all incoming goods in line with Clover standards.

• Unload deliveries, inspect goods for accuracy, quantity and damage, and report discrepancies.

• Ensure incoming inventory is checked within 24 hours of arrival.

• Allocate and store products correctly within designated warehouse locations.

2. Warehouse Operations

• Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately and in a timely manner using nominated picking slips.

• Ensure goods are correctly packaged, labelled and staged for dispatch.

• Load and unload Clover vehicles in accordance with safety and legal requirements.

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation and safe work areas at all times.

• Support efficient warehouse layout and stock flow.

3. Inventory Control & Accuracy

• Participate in and support cycle counts, spot checks and stocktakes.

• Assist in investigating stock discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

• Support improvements to stock accuracy and warehouse processes.

4. Senior Support & Operational Guidance

• Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff on correct processes and standards.

• Act as a point of escalation for basic operational issues when supervisors are unavailable.

• Support onboarding and on-the-job training of new warehouse staff.

• Assist supervisors and managers in maintaining workflow efficiency and standards.

5. Safety, Compliance & Equipment

• Comply with all Clover Pipelines WHS policies and procedures.

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely (where licensed and authorised).

• Ensure load restraint complies with road laws and safety requirements.

• Report hazards, incidents, near misses or damaged equipment immediately.

• Ensure vehicles, tools and equipment are used safely and responsibly.

6. Systems & Administration

• Use Clover inventory and warehouse systems accurately and consistently.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to warehouse activities.

• Report system, stock or process issues to supervisors or management.

7. Teamwork & Conduct

• Work cooperatively with warehouse staff, drivers, supervisors and sales teams.

• Follow all reasonable and lawful directions from supervisors or management.

• Act professionally and in the best interests of Clover Pipelines at all times.

• Maintain confidentiality of company, customer and supplier information.

Position Competencies & Capabilities:

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse and logistics operations.

• Forklift licence (required or willingness to obtain).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and support others.

• Sound understanding of WHS requirements in a warehouse environment.

• Reliable, punctual and team-focused.
