The Team & Role

We are seeking motivated and skilled Grade 2 Social Workers to join our team on a casual basis. Whether you're looking for weekday shifts, weekend work, or a combination of both, this role offers the flexibility to fit around your lifestyle while allowing you to work within a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and their families through comprehensive psychosocial and risk assessments, targeted interventions, advocacy, and proactive discharge planning. You will work closely with health professionals, family members, community agencies, and external services to achieve positive patient outcomes, while also providing clinical consultation, mentoring, and supervision to Grade 1 Social Workers and Social Work students as required. Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work & be eligible for AASW membership.    
• Two or more years post-qualifying professional experience in a hospital or related setting.  
• Advanced demonstrated knowledge and application of Social Work theory.    
• Demonstrated skills and good working knowledge of community support services.
