About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our new Soft Signage Department at our Keilor Park facility.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
As part of a brand-new production team, you’ll play a key role in finishing high-quality printed banners, flags, displays and other fabric signage products. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, take pride in producing quality work, and enjoy working efficiently in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate industrial sewing machines to finish printed soft signage products
Accurately measure, cut, and assemble fabric components
Maintain high levels of quality control while performing repetitive tasks
Work autonomously while following production schedules and instructions
Ensure a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Skills and Experience
Proven experience as an industrial sewing machinist
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues
Experience with commercial or technical fabrics (preferred)
Background in fashion or textiles (advantageous but not essential)
Willingness to learn and undertake additional training as required
