Project Assistant

SMA Australia has a Part-time opportunity for a talented Under-graduate to work as a Project Assistant in our Large-Scale team. The position is 3 days per week and based at our North Sydney office.

About the role: 

The Project Assistant is responsible for supporting Project Managers who conduct project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure successful completion within set deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Update and manage internal systems with project specific information e.g. Monday.com, Sales Force, Sharepoint
• Preparing presentations
• Collating, tracking and distributing project specific documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding various project milestones
• Collate and review commissioning document package and other associated information
• Coordinating shipment tracking and document package preparation
• Additional administrative adhoc tasks as needed to support project team as required
• Attendance to Customer/internal meetings as required

Experience & Skills:

• Working administration experience
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Experience in large scale utility industry would be a bonus
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft systems
• Proficiency in project management tools/software would be a bonus
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Strong English language skill

Qualifications:

• Studying Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
• Project management certification (PMP) would be a bonus
