To be successful you will have:

• Right to work in Australia

• Unrestricted registration with AHPRA

• Ability to understand and adapt to different clients' processes

• Solid clinical assessment skills.

What you'll do:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with Altaira/client policies, ANMC standards, and professional codes

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans to optimise client outcomes

• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate care plans and service outcomes

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client needs and review care

• Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely clinical documentation

• Practise safely within scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through continuous professional development

• Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Enrolled Nurses, PCAs, and volunteers

• Assist with staff orientation, training, development, and performance support

• Support student placements and induction of agency staff

• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and management

• Escalate incidents and ensure timely reporting in line with client requirements

• Act as senior nurse on shift when required, including emergency response

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and Work Health & Safety standards

• Undertake additional duties as required within scope of role.

Essential:

• Current AHPRA registration with no conditions

• National Police Clearance

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

• First Aid Certificate / CPR

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
