Role Outline

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing in 2027.

As a Health and Physical Education Teacher, you will deliver a dynamic and engaging Health and Physical Education program that supports students in developing physical literacy, personal well-being and healthy habits. You will create inclusive learning experiences that build confidence, teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical activity.

In this role, you will guide students through practical and theoretical components of the HPE curriculum, helping them understand the importance of physical health, mental well-being and lifelong participation in sport and recreation.

Your day will look like:

·       Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned HPE lessons that blend practical activity with meaningful health education.
·      Encouraging strong participation, supporting diverse learners and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for all students.
· Building positive relationships and promoting teamwork, resilience and personal growth through structured activities and games.
·       Contributing to school events, carnivals and extracurricular activities that celebrate physical activity and student achievement.

Requirements for the Role

·       A tertiary teaching qualification and TRBWA registration
·       A current Working with Children registration
·       To be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education
·       To be working towards or have completed the Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School
