About usThe Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) is at the centre of Government decision-making. As the principal economic and financial advisor, we provide leadership and strategic advice and influence to support the delivery of services and outcomes for the benefit of Western Australia.
What we do is integral to the Government’s decision-making processes about where and how to spend taxpayer’s money to ensure Western Australians have access to quality services on a financially sustainable basis.
We lead procurement and leverage our buying power to secure products and services for government, achieving value for money for WA.
We collect revenue to fund government services and administer payment of grants and subsidies to the WA community.
The work areaThis role sits within the Digital Transformation Unit which is part of the Analytics, Digital Transformation and Strategic Projects Directorate. The Digital Transformation Unit provides advice on digital investment and transformation across Government.
The opportunityThis role provides an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a team at the center of driving digital transformation across Government. In this team you will be advising on ICT investment decisions, project assurance activities and whole-of-government policy issues.
In this role, you will:
assist to support DTF’s input into assessment and assurance activities in relation to significant ICT projects;contribute to advice on ICT investment proposals and relevant whole-of-government ICT policy issues; andwork collaboratively with other business units within DTF and across the public sector to support project and policy outcomes.
There is one (1) permanent full-time position available for filling within the Digital Transformation Unit.
