The Opportunity

• Maintain, repair and service a range of heavy earthmoving and mobile plant equipment in accordance with Thiess and industry standards.
• Perform diagnostic fault finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
• Follow site safety procedures, complete maintenance documentation accurately and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

• Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification.
• Post-trade experience within the mining or heavy earthmoving industry.
• Experience undertaking breakdown repairs, servicing, component change-outs and general maintenance on mining equipment.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Standard 11 (desirable).
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork and maintaining high work standards.
