Store Manager

Red Hill Candle Co. & Perfumery is launching a brand new store at Chadstone, and we’re looking for an experienced, energetic and people focused Store Manager to lead the launch and take ownership of the store as it grows.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves retail, genuinely enjoys connecting with customers and knows how to build a high performing team.

You’ll be joining our brand at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to help shape our Chadstone store residency from the ground up and play an important role in its ongoing success.

About the role

As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day to day operation of the Chadstone store, leading a team and creating a warm, premium customer experience that reflects the Red Hill Candle Co brand.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, motivating and developing the retail team

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience

• Driving store sales and achieving targets

• Building strong product knowledge across the team

• Managing opening and closing procedures

• Managing POS and daily cash procedures

• Maintaining stock levels and coordinating replenishment

• Ensuring the store is beautifully presented at all times

• Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues

• Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities to grow

• Supporting visual merchandising and seasonal campaigns

• Leading the team through peak Christmas trade and the ongoing trading period beyond Christmas

About you

Experience in premium retail, gifting, fragrance, beauty, fashion, homewares or lifestyle brands would be highly regarded.

More than a Store Manager

This role is about more than managing a roster and opening the doors each morning.

You’ll be responsible for motivating the team, creating the culture and setting the standard for how Red Hill Candle Co. customers experience our brand at Chadstone.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently move between leading a team, serving customers, driving sales, managing stock and solving whatever the day brings.

You don’t need to be the most corporate manager in the room. We’re looking for someone who leads with energy, is commercially aware and genuinely enjoys being on the shop floor.

The role will include significant responsibility during the Christmas trading period, followed by the ongoing management and growth of the store beyond Christmas.

Availability

This role requires strong availability across the trading week, including weekends, late night trade and key public holidays, particularly during the peak Christmas period.
