Are you a carpenter looking to take the next step — spending less time on the tools and more time coordinating trades and leading a small team on commercial and residential projects?
We are a multi-award-winning builder, renowned for delivering exceptional quality workmanship and strong client relationships led by our people first culture. We are seeking a Site Coordinator / Carpenter to join our team on a full-time salaried basis.
You’ll still use your carpentry skills when needed, but the core of the role is coordinating site activities, leading a small team, and delivering quality outcomes across a range of commercial projects.
About the RoleWorking across various projects, you will:
Coordinate day-to-day site activities and trades
Lead a small team of carpenters and apprentices
Deliver general building works, second-fix, joinery, repairs and maintenance
Maintain high standards of workmanship, presentation and safety
Read and interpret plans and scopes of work
Solve problems on site and keep projects moving
Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
Minimum 5 years carpentry experience (excluding apprenticeship)
Ability to lead a small team and work unsupervised
Strong practical construction knowledge and problem-solving skills
Current driver’s licence
Ability to obtain Working with Children Clearance and National Police Clearance
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and cultural alignment with our values
