About the role

Lakes Plumbing Services Pty Ltd is seeking  4th Year APPRENTICE & OR PLUMBER / DRAINER to join our team in Ravenhall, VIC 3023. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to develop your plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of plumbing projects, working towards completing your qualification and establishing yourself as a skilled tradesperson in the plumbing industry.

What you'll be doing

• Completing installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties

• Showing knowledge in reading and interpreting plumbing plans and technical drawings and able to give supervision to junior apprentices where needed.

• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment and completing all tasks on time and in a professional manner

• Fitting and installation of pipes, fixtures and fittings, including hot water systems and drainage solutions

• Performing practical skills in soldering, welding and other specialist plumbing techniques

• Attending to emergency callouts and providing prompt customer service during maintenance visits

• Undertaking routine maintenance tasks and repairs to existing plumbing installations

• Attending relevant training courses and on-the-job instruction

• Assisting with the testing and commissioning of newly installed plumbing systems

• Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and workplace procedures

What we're looking for

Required Attributes/Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Drainage - Sewer, Stormwater and AGI Laying and Installation

• Experience in Rough In’s , Fit Offs and Appliance Installation

• Gas and Solar Experience

• Manual Drivers Licence preferred – Heavy Vehicle Licence would be Advantageous

• Excavator Ticket would be Advantageous

• Ability to Read Plans and Measurements

• Must have White Card

• Enthusiastic Attitude

• Ability to undertake manual/physical work

• Strong commitment

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to work as part of a team of independently

• Overtime / Weekend Work available if desired
