The role Play a lead role in shaping the future of waste infrastructure across NSW and delivering initiatives within the NSW Waste and Circular Infrastructure Plan. You will identify and progress strategic opportunities that strengthen essential waste services, including future infrastructure planning, investment pathways and innovative use of government land. Your work will ensure waste services continue to be reliably and affordably delivered to Greater Sydney’s growing population while future infrastructure transitions to a circular economy. Working with government agencies, regulators and industry stakeholders, you will lead complex feasibility assessments, provide strategic advice and drive projects that deliver sustainable environmental and community outcomes. You'll balance competing priorities, manage budgets and guide a high-performing team to achieve impactful results. For more information about this position, read the full Role Description: Senior Manager Waste Infrastructure What you will bring to the role Demonstrated leadership capability, with the ability to motivate, develop and lead high-performing teams to achieve strategic objectives.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues, assess risks and develop practical, evidence-based solutions.Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence outcomes and collaborate across government, regulatory bodies and industry partners.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear advice and recommendations for diverse audiences.
What is an essential requirement:Degree in chemical/civil/environmental engineering, environmental science, or relevant discipline and relevant professional experience.A current and valid NSW drivers licence
