HC Drivers- BCH

We are currently seeking a skilled HC Driver to join Big Chief Hire. This role offers consistent, ongoing work within a trusted transport team, where you will be part of a professional and supportive environment that values safety, reliability, and efficiency in every job.

About the roleWe are looking for Local HC drivers in Burton, SA. As a Local HC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of trucks, plant machinery and other goods for clients across South Australia. This is a hands-on role suited to drivers who take pride in safe driving practices and consistent service delivery.Key responsibilities include

• Transporting freight locally throughout South Australia
• Maintaining compliance with safety standards and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Conducting daily prestart checks on vehicles and equipment
• Managing fatigue in line with relevant fatigue management guidelines

About You

• Current HC or MC License with a minimum of 2 years’ experience 
• Tipper Experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Good Driving record
• A commitment to workplace safety and compliance 
• Low Loader experience (desirable)
• Experience with loading and unloading earthmoving machines
• Knowledge of Adelaide Metro and local country areas
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to adapt in demanding and high-pressure environments
