The Opportunity

BMD Urban is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Contractor's Quality Representatives (CQRs) to join our high-performing team in the Townsville region.

Working alongside senior project leaders, you'll play a key role in delivering complex civil infrastructure projects while driving safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor Site Engineers and Graduates, helping develop the next generation of engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical and engineering support across project deliveryEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, quality and contractual requirementsDrive project productivity, programme and cost outcomesSupport the delivery of quality infrastructure that meets client specificationsContribute innovative solutions to complex engineering challengesMentor Site Engineers and Graduate EngineersLiaise effectively with project teams, clients and stakeholdersSupport quality management and project compliance requirements

About You

We're looking for professionals who bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, orRelevant CQR qualifications in surveying, quality management or similar disciplinesMinimum 4 years' civil construction industry experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsA proactive and solutions-focused mindsetA strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental outcomesThe ability to deliver value-for-money project outcomes

Highly Regarded

Previous experience delivering TMR projectsExperience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil contractorsExperience working on transport, infrastructure or urban development projects
