Full Time Permanent Farm Hand

A position is available at a progressive family-owned mixed farming operation located 2kms from Ross in the Northern Midlands of Tasmania.

The position involves working with both the livestock and cropping team with a focus on animal health and production, fencing, farm and machinery maintenance.

 Applicants should have a willingness to learn or have experience with livestock, fencing, irrigation, modern agricultural machinery operation and maintenance.

The position requires a level of responsibility and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 

Desired skills include self-motivation, time management, initiative and independence. 

Relevant agricultural certificates and licenses preferable but not essential.

Training will be provided for ongoing skill and career development.

Well maintained on-farm houses close to Ross and Campbell Town included in remuneration package - negotiable in relation to experience.
