Warehouse/Storeperson – Job DescriptionPearl Coast Distributors is a family owned and operated Food Wholesale/Distribution business Based in Broome and operating throughout the Kimberley Region.We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking self-starter with a positive attitude to work as a Warehouse/Storeperson.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly experienced and motivated team, offering five days a week, with day shifts and occasional overtime as required.Your Responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:     

Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.     

Receiving and loading bulk loads. Accept delivery, unload, sorts, or checks goods received for quality, quantity, type, or size.     

Pick, pack and prepare orders for timely delivery.     

Check that the correct labelling for the distribution of the ordered goods to ensure they are despatched correctly.     

Ensures stock rotation and stock counts are completed.     

Follow all Food safety and hygiene procedures.     

Warehouse area housekeeping - ensures that rubbish is picked up and the general area is kept clear of hazards.     

Abide by company procedures and highlight items that could lead to operational efficiencies.What you need:     

Abide by the instructions given by the Production Manager / supervisor to ensure the work tasks are completed efficiently and on time with minimal errors.     

Be able to work in a safe manner ensuring their own personal safety or that of others. Identifies safety issues to their supervisor.     

Physically fit and able to perform regular manual handling duties (required)     

Ensure safe operations and procedures are adhered to, including maintaining a clean work area.     

Reliability and great eye for detail.     

Good organizational skills.     

Good communication skills.     

Good time management skills.     

Good problem-solving skills.     

Good motivational skills.     

Basic computing skills.     

Able to work autonomously.     

Working experience in this type of role is an advantage.     

Current drivers license required.     

Must be reliable, honest and hard working.     

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse      

Current Forklift License     

Current Drivers License

Above award wages $60k-$80k for the right applicant.
