About the role
About The Role:
This is a great opportunity to lead high-impact strategic property projects that will help shape the future of the City of Charles Sturt. As our Strategic Property Lead, you will turn ideas, evidence and partnerships into practical outcomes that make a real difference for our community.
You will work across Council to drive innovation, coordinate complex initiatives, unlock opportunities and keep projects moving from strategy through to delivery.
About You:
You have demonstrated experience supporting, coordinating or delivering projects in a complex organisational, government or multidisciplinary environment.You bring strong project delivery, coordination, research and reporting skills, with an outcomes-focused and detail-oriented approach.You are confident working flexibly across diverse projects, adapting to shifting priorities and solving problems in a practical and considered way.You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and present clear recommendations.You are a collaborative communicator who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and bring people together to deliver shared outcomes.You have an understanding of project management principles, governance, risk and reporting, as well as contemporary challenges in local government such as sustainability, innovation, infrastructure and community engagement.You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, planning, public policy, sustainability, project management or communications, or equivalent extensive experience.

About Our Team:
City Planning and Sustainability portfolio is responsible for planning of the city, strategic development, business and economic development, as well as the greening of our community.
The Detail:
The position is offered on a 9 month part-time 0.6 FTE fixed-term basis and is classified at Level 7, with a salary range of $126,847 to $134,515 per annum (pro-rata) + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
