Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a our injury management and training coordinator. This is a combined role covering several aspects of human resources to form a full time position. In this varied role, no day will be the same. Perfect for a generalist HR enthusiast who wants to develop into injury management and training. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the learning and development initiatives within our organisation, ensuring that employees receive the necessary training to enhance their skills and knowledge. You will also manage our return to work program and help enhance our injury prevention initiatives on site.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs within the organisation.
– Assist in developing training programs, materials, and resources that align with the needs of our business.
– Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling rooms, arranging equipment, sending invitations, etc.
– Lead the design and upkeep of work instructions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality assurance systems.
– Delivering all training through our learning management system, designing and scheduling materials as required.
– Continuously update existing training materials and courses on LMS to ensure they reflect current practices.
– Work with our employees and supervisory team to develop return to work plans for any injuries.
– Attend medical appointments, liase with our insurer and other external agencies to take control of the injury management on site.
Requirements for this role:
– Prior experience working in an entry-level HR role or injury management/training specialty is highly desirable.
– Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), videography, software design desirable.
– Time management is essential in this role.
– A working with vulnerable people – employment registration – is required for this role.
