Sydney Theatre Company is Australia's largest theatre company and the state theatre company of NSW. STC is a place where artists, staff and audiences come together to explore and share ideas through the power of live storytelling.
Sydney Theatre Company is planning an exciting 2027 production season.
To deliver our extensive local and touring production program, alongside regular events and external client venue hires, the STC Technical Department is expanding its talent pool. We will have a range of contract, seasonal, and casual roles available across all technical departments and are commencing the process of putting our 2027 production teams together.
We are now inviting expressions of interest from experienced technical theatre practitioners.
Specifically, we want to hear from –
Lighting Supervisors, Technicians, and Operators. Sound Supervisors, Technicians, and Operators. Staging Supervisors, Mechanists, Fly System and Automation Operators. Video Supervisors, Technicians, and Operators.
If you have experience in any of those roles and would like to be considered for opportunities with Sydney Theatre Company in 2027, please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining the types of work you are interested in and your current 2027 availability.
All submissions will be added to our talent pool. Specific opportunities will be followed up on a case-by-case basis.
