About the role
Lead procurement, shape strategy and help build the
future of Wanneroo.
This is more than a procurement leadership role. It is an
opportunity to shape how one of WA’s fastest-growing local
governments partners with its customers, manages risk, delivers
value-for-money, and supports the services, infrastructure and
projects that matter.
Procurement and Contracts play a leading role in what we do. When we build a new road – Procurement goes first. When we deliver a new leisure centre - Procurement goes first. Even when we empty your rubbish bins - Procurement went first. When done well, procurement is a strategic function that enables better decisions, protects public value, and deliver public outcomes that withstand scrutiny.

Who you are

forward.
You will thrive in this role if you are:
• A frank and fearless advisor who can provide clear,
professional, and evidence-based guidance.
• A solution-finder who brings options, not just obstacles.
• A collaborative partner who values early engagement and strong
relationships.
• A continuous learner who sees procurement and contract management
as disciplines that keep evolving.
• A calm and practical leader who can coach people, set
