Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant

Branded Studio Co. is looking for a talented, creative and design-obsessed Design & Marketing Assistant to join our growing studio.

We’re a boutique creative studio specialising in brand design, custom packaging, website design and digital marketing, working with beautiful, ambitious brands across Australia, New Zealand and the world.

This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who loves all things design, branding and content. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director across a mix of client and studio projects — from creating brand assets and packaging concepts to designing social content, EDMs and websites.

We’re not necessarily looking for someone with years of agency experience. Your eye for design, creativity, attention to detail and overall aesthetic are much more important to us. You might be a design student, recent graduate, freelancer or emerging creative looking to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects.

What you’ll be helping with

• Brand design and brand collateral
• Packaging design and mockups
• Social media content and graphics
• EDM and email marketing design
• Website design and updates
• Preparing client presentations and creative concepts
• Content creation and general studio creative
• Assisting with day-to-day design and marketing projects

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally be:

• Confident and fluent in Canva
• Confident across the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Someone with a strong eye for beautiful, elevated and considered design
• Creative, organised and detail-oriented
• Comfortable jumping between different brands, aesthetics and types of projects
• Proactive and happy to take initiative
• Excited to learn, experiment and grow with the studio

Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo and/or Squarespace would be a huge bonus, as would skills in photography, videography or content creation — but these aren’t essential.

More than anything, we’re looking for the right creative fit: someone who understands our aesthetic, loves the world of branding and packaging, and wants to become part of a growing creative studio. We are looking for someone who loves the fashion, beauty and wellness space as this is where a lot of our clients live.

The details

This is a part-time position of approximately 6–10 hours per week, with the potential to grow over time.

The role will be in-house at our South Gold Coast location, so you’ll need to be based locally and available to work with us in person.
