Steel Fixer | Entry Level - Leading Hand

Reofast is a family-run business that specializes in the supply & fix of reinforcement steel. Our expertise spans the residential market, apartment buildings, and commercial building industry, focusing on the premium residential market. We enjoy the work that we do, and we’ve been doing it for over 24 years, across the Perth region.

We are currently looking to grow Reofast through our team and are seeking Individuals for the following roles: 

Trainee Steel fixer

• Start a career in steelfixing and learn the skill/trade.

• Have the right attitude & aptitude for learning the trade.

• Fit to do hard physical work. 

Basic Steel fixer

• Have basic knowledge of the trade 

• Understand the principles & Jargon 

• Basic tying skills. 

Steel fixer

• Several years experience in all aspects of steel fixing 

• Have a solid understanding of the technical side of steelfixing.

 Leading Hand

• Oversee jobs, lead & run a crew. 

Start on casual and convert to full time.

There will be a 6-month probation period. 

Full-time position with holiday leave, etc.

About the Job 

You will be a Steel fixer in a small team. 

Different sites around Perth. 

Focused on double-storey housing: mostly suspended slabs - but also footings, walls & columns. 

Generally, only a few days at each site.

About you 

• Australian citizen or have the right to work full time in Australia

• Have a driver’s license and own transport 

• Have a white card or can apply for one

• Reliable and take pride in the work you do

• Fit to do outdoor physical work

• Highly motivated and can-do attitude

• Ability to build and maintain relationships

• Flexible, adaptable and problem solver.

• Happy to travel from job site to job site as needed

• Able to travel to jobs from Two Rocks to Mandurah
