Georgiana Molloy Anglican School (GMAS) is seeking passionate, engaging and committed Secondary Mathematics Teachers to join our teaching team from the commencement of the 2027 Academic Year.

We have two opportunities available:

• 1.0FTE – Permanent

• 0.60FTE – Fixed Term

We are particularly interested in educators with a passion for Middle School Mathematics and the ability to engage, support and extend students across a range of abilities.

Experience teaching Senior Secondary Mathematics would be advantageous, particularly ATAR Mathematics Applications, Methods and/or Specialist.

About the Role

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at GMAS, you will provide high-quality, engaging learning experiences that challenge, support and inspire students.

You will work collaboratively within the Mathematics Department to deliver contemporary curriculum and create learning environments where students develop confidence, curiosity and strong mathematical thinking.

We are looking for teachers who:

• are passionate about Mathematics and genuinely enjoy working with young people;

• have a particular interest in Middle School Mathematics, with Senior Secondary experience also highly regarded;

• understand and embrace differentiated teaching, adapting learning to support, challenge and extend students;

• create positive and engaging classrooms where students feel confident to question, problem-solve and learn from mistakes;

• use assessment and student achievement data to inform teaching and student growth;

• work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and refine curriculum and assessment; and

• build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
